The Razende Bol sand bank is just off the Island of Texel in the Netherlands. This camera has been commissioned by IMARES and is used to monitor marine mammals and seabirds. It is solar powered and has a Methanol Fuel cell for the winter months. The camera is connected to the internet using a 3G connection but also has a WiFi connection. Updates every 5 seconds  |
